Capturing the art and essence of the Renaissance era in a photo with an ethnic urban twist, David is a masterpiece created in marble between 1501 and 1504 by the famed Italian artist Michelangelo. A symbol of the Renaissance, a time period where artists and their artwork flourished. For this shoot I got a fresh cut (yeh my barber went to Harvard) and I added my own personal style and wanted to incorporate a renowned piece of art within my own work of art. I chose a location that visually complimented the theme. Just up a few flights of stairs I found this spot that brought me to the roof which I thought was a gem.
